Haslemere in Beer, East Devon

Lovely property in central village location very close to beach and restaurants. Positive: Location was fab in the village centre, 2 minutes walk to the beach and many great places to eat just seconds away. Overall facilities very good, well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor space to eat. Very comfortable and spacious. Negative: Only lacked 1 thing for a family who likes to spend a lot of time on the beach/in the sea - a washing machine or at the very least a drying facility for towels and swimwear.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location - would definitely recommend to friends. Positive: The house was beautifully presented, with every effort made to offer a warm welcome and comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, the recliner chairs in the lounge were fantastic. The location was perfect for everything we wanted - lots of shops, pubs and restaurants within a couple of mins walk, with the beach just a few yards down the road. Parking was fine too, with a permit for our stay in the local car park, again just 2 mins walk away. Negative: The wifi wasn't great on the tv in the lounge, but it wasn't a big deal for us. The washing machine wasn't available at the time, but again, not a big deal for us.

I have to say that since discovering Sofa Seagull a couple of years ago we will always check to see what is available from them before anyone else. The customer service is excellent & the properties they manage are very very good.
